End of Semester announcements
- Postgraduate Seminars Semester 1 2008
- The Mathematics Assistance Room, (Room G16, Ground Floor, Science Centre, Building 303) will be open on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 10am to 3pm, for the next 3 weeks. There will be no tutors rostered after Thursday June 26th.
- There is no one-to-one tutoring during the exams period.

Relocation of the Student Resource Centre
The Student Resource Centre has moved to room G34, within the newly created SciSpace (Rooms303-G16), on the ground floor of Building 303. Assignment hand-in boxes remain at their current location, in the Basement.

Getting help
- Help with undergraduate courses is available from Room G16, Ground floor of the Mathematics/Stats/Physics Building (Building 303, 38 Princes Street), between 10am and 4pm Monday to Friday. The assistance room timetable allows you to see when help with a course is available.
- One to one tutoring: If you take MATHS 102, 108, or MATHS 208, you can book a 30 minutes 1 to 1 tutoring slot. Booking sheets for the next week come out on Thursday morning, at the Mathematics main office
- There will be no one-to-one tutoring during the mid-semester break week
- Office hours: You can also see your lecturers during their office hours

- Tutorials Updated table of tutorial rooms. Please note that room G248 (Geol248) is located in the Geology/Chemistry Building (Building 301 Room 248). All the other ooms are in the Maths/Physics/Stats Building.

Summer School

Superstart 2008
- Superstart 2008 - 10 day course from 18 to 29 February; 7 day course from 21 to 29 February
- Superstart is a refresher course for students enrolling in MATHS 108, MATHS 150, ENGSCI 111 or PHYS 111 who do not have a strong background in Mathematics with Calculus.

- New Students : The University of Auckland and Faculty of Science both have a new/prospective students section. Please see the University Admission and enrollment procedures and how these apply to Mathematics.
- Note the closing dates for submitting your application to become a student of the University of Auckland.

MAX 2008
- MAX students will enrol in MATHS 153 (Accelerated Mathematics), a first semester course which is academically equivalent to MATHS 150 (Advancing Mathematics 1) and to ENGSCI 111 (Mathematical Modelling 1).
