CANDYS/QA is a software package for numerical bifurcation analysis of dynamical systems; its name is an abbreviation of Computer Analysis of Nonlinear DYnamical Systems/Qualitative Analysis.
The package is written for autonomous systems, periodically forced systems, and autonomous systems with discrete time steps. CANDYS/QA computes equilibria and periodic orbits and determines their stability. Furthermore, CANDYS/QA can follow these solutions in parameter space and it detects and computes codimension-1, codimension-2, and some kinds of higher order codimension bifurcation points.
CANDYS/QA has a few special features compared to, for example, the continuation package AUTO, and it is similar to CONTENT.
The latest version of CANDYS/QA is written in C++. User's manual, source codes, and installation guide can be downloaded.
