Attendance at tutorials is absolutely vital. Tutorials have a unique role in this course, as it is tutorial-driven. Each tutorial gives every student detailed feedback on the extent to which they have mastered the week's lecture material. Marks are awarded for honest participation and additional bonus marks are available for work of outstanding excellence.
